qiio is an ETH Spin-off focusing on Internet of Things (IoT). Thanks to our know-how, we have developed an end-to-end solution that makes it possible to control and maintain machines remotely. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for the DACH market, who will work in the local territory and create a strong sales pipeline. This Area Sales Manager will work in our Zurich office or home office.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenues and growth of the territory
  • Create a strong sales pipeline of IoT solutions to capitalize on the full potential of the territory
  • Realize the acquisition of IoT projects and customers in the industrial sector
  • Closely work with the application engineer to offer solutions that meet or exceed customer needs
  • Coordinate internal resources (e.g. R&D, internal sales, logistics, quality, etc.) to ensure superior customer satisfaction
  • Manage key accounts to guarantee long-term success and revenue stream

Requirements

  • Technical background in electronics (hardware and software) and a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Ideally understanding of IoT ecosystem (hardware, software, connectivity, and cloud solutions)
  • Proven track records in developing a strong sales pipeline from the ground up in a technology environment (strong hunter type)
  • Ability to stir up the sales process and close outstanding deals
  • Willingness to travel significantly and work in a start-up environment
  • Proficiency in German and English
